Demaray is currently focused on developing a Solid-state, Lithium Metal battery.  If the goals of the battery development program are realized, Demaray’s Solid-state Lithium Metal battery will:

  • Provide 2 to 3 times more energy storage per kilogram of weight than current “state of the art” Lithium polymer batteries
  • Allow faster charging
  • Provide long-term, virtually no-loss energy storage.  
  • Not require cooling
  • Not contain flammable electrolyte materials

Potential product applications would include:

  • Electric Vehicles with 3 to 4 times more range per charge
  • Electric jet aircraft where the jet fuel is replaced with Solid-state, Lithium Metal batteries and an electric motor would spin the jet engine to fly the plane. 
  • Long-term energy storage of solar and wind generated electricity.
  • High performance batteries for Low Earth Orbit satellites like those that power the Starlink1 internet service.
